DME Workshops: for knowledge transfer in partner regions
One the most important aims for the DME Network is to achieve a truly pan-European knowledge sharing platform through the organisation of workshops across a number of European locations. These workshops, organised by highly motivated DME partners and agents, can either take place within the partners’ and agents’ own organisations or as a part of other events related to design and design management.
The initial expectations for the DME workshops have been exceeded both in numbers of workshops as well as participants, proving the success and interest raised by the initiative. Due to this achievement, the DME consortium is seeking to organise more workshops in the future, with a larger spread throughout European regions and increased levels of participation.
In the left menu you will find our workshop calendar (under construction). This is an overview of both past and future workshops, for a better understanding of what has been achieved as well as information on upcoming workshops in your region.
Aim of workshops
The DME workshops work as vehicles for knowledge transfer on design management, tools for discussion in a pan-European knowledge-sharing platform. They also fulfil DME’s fundamental objective of raising awareness for the benefits of design management amongst a wide target audience (especially SME’s) and to help European organisations in using design effectively, thus improving their competitiveness.
