DME Award 2009
3rd edition Design Management Europe Award
The competition is the first of its kind to award the management contribution to successful design. Over the past two years the award attracted highly innovative and progressive companies from across Europe and the organisation is looking forward yet again to a strong list of candidates for this year’s edition.
The 3rd edition of the DME Award is being organised and hosted by the City of Eindhoven in co-operation with the European Design Centre, The Netherlands. This year the DME network also provides a strong base for the widespread involvement of all European countries and high quality participants in the competition.
Award procedures
Companies and organisations are challenged to apply for the DME Award by demonstrating how design is integrated in their strategy, management and processes to achieve commercial gains or organisational objectives. Categories for the award cover a wide spectrum of businesses and organisations; from micro companies to multi-nationals, service and manufacturing sectors, public agencies and non profit organisations.
Winning a DME Award means being recognised by an international jury of design management experts assessing against criteria of leadership, innovation, co-ordination and results.
Interested companies and organisations can request information on the registration procedure from their National Contact. Once registered, candidates will be updated by their contact person on how to proceed with the application.
